TWENTY TOMORROW.

 I am nineteen today,
Twenty tomorrow.
Yet there's no place for me
In this world of joy and sorrow
The numbers keep on changing
Leaving me with all the memories clinging

Yesterday's plan for today
Doesn't get an execution
As I stand astray
Everything's in motion

Don't know where I'm going
Am I still or still walking
Trapped in this crate of pleasures
Forgetting the world's real treasures

I won't say there are grey clouds
But neither is the sky clear
There ain't any brazen wounds
But still I have nothing bound

There's no room for faults
Time leaps as if it summersaults
Still waiting for the cosmos to flower
To lead a harmless meteor shower

The sky smiles when it's dark
But what happens when it's lit
Why does every little thing break
To make everything fit

Fallen into a pool of agony
Endless misery
Such a trickery
In this world of joy and sorrow
I am nineteen today,
Twenty tomorrow.
