You are no less than Eris..

Busy gazing at the brightest star,

I lost my shine. 

I surmised their orbit as unique,

Without even thinking about mine.

We get influenced by people very easily, right?

 We always wish to be like someone, we want to live a life like theirs. We want to transform our identities by seeing them. Talking about myself, I too easily get influenced by anyone's personality and then a lot of times I try to incorporate their personalities into mine. But, that's where we begin to go on the wrong path, that's where we lose our individualities. 

Trying to incorporate someone's good habits is okay to some extent but if we begin trying to become like that person. That's when our glimmer fades. We are always in a game of impressing someone. There must be at least one person in your life too whom you want to impress. And if we don't wish to impress someone then we by getting impressed by someone else try to impress ourselves. (I know that's too much of an impression)

A lily itself is very beautiful but somehow its beauty fades when kept near a rose. That's how everyone is, we are all beautiful, perfect and irreplaceable when we are ourselves but the moment we start comparing ourselves with others, the moment we start changing ourselves to impress others that's when our beauty fades.

But that doesn't mean we have to stop changing ourselves but what needs to be done is to replace the word "change" with "improve". If you find a good quality in someone, try to incorporate it into your lifestyle but don't change your lifestyle for that quality. If you feel someone's doing good, try to make that good better and maybe the best in your life and don't just simply do exactly what that person is doing. 

If someone is Pluto then you are no less than Eris. If someone is Sun then you are no less than Proxima Centauri.

Just believe in yourself.

And trust me you are awesome and there's no one like you which is why please don't lose your shine. I know other's orbit always appears prettier but your orbit is unique in itself and equally beautiful.
